Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FixAtlas’s website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

FixAtlas provides a technical reference library, troubleshooting guides, AI-assisted diagnostic tools, and related features for maintenance and repair professionals. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

3. Plans, billing, and renewals

• We offer a free tier and paid subscription plans (DIY, Pro, and Business). Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis — monthly or annually, as you select at checkout.
• Annual plans are billed at twelve times the monthly price; there is no annual discount unless explicitly stated at checkout.
• Business plans are billed per seat. Adding seats increases your charge; changes are prorated by our payment processor.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until canceled. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe’s terms where applicable.

4. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel, your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period and then does not renew. Payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, or unused features, except where required by law. See our Refund Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, redistribute, or scrape the Service or its content except as expressly allowed;
• share a single-user account with others or exceed your licensed seat count;
• reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

6. AI features and content disclaimer

The Service includes AI-generated diagnostic suggestions and reference content provided for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional judgment, manufacturer instructions, or licensed expertise. Always follow applicable safety codes, manufacturer documentation, and local regulations. You are solely responsible for any actions taken based on the Service, and you assume all risk for repair, maintenance, and safety decisions.

7. Intellectual property

The Service and its content (excluding content you submit) are owned by FixAtlas or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your internal business or personal use, subject to your plan.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixAtlas will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
