Lutron Quantum Area Controller

Daylight Harvesting Setup

  1. Mount photosensor at proper location (ceiling, facing daylight)
  2. Calibrate minimum light level (full electric, no daylight)
  3. Calibrate maximum daylight (blinds open, maximum daylight)
  4. Set control response: P-zone or closed-loop
  5. Test in various daylight conditions

Occupancy Control

  • Occupancy sensors linked to zones
  • Vacancy (manual ON, auto OFF) vs. occupancy (auto ON and OFF)
  • Set timeout: 15-30 minutes typical
  • Grace warning: 5-minute dim-to-off warning recommended

Energy Reporting

  • Review monthly energy reports
  • Compare to baseline (first month of operation)
